Football Recap: Woodrow Wilson Starts off Right with Win over Portola + How To Watch

Woodrow Wilson had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Portola Bulldogs 35-0. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Bruins just coasted through the last quarter.

Kori Scott had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 109 yards and two scores on only 14 carries. Those 109 rushing yards gave him a new career-high. Jemel Grigsby got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Woodrow Wilson proved: they limited Portola to a paltry 2.1 yards per carry. While one picked up at least six total tackles, Daelan Foster stood above the rest. He made six total tackles (2.0 for loss). Woodrow Wilson didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged six.
