Soccer Recap: Santa Fe Christian Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Santa Fe Christian can now relate to. They fell just short of the Mission Bay Buccaneers by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday. The game was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but the Eagles couldn't quite close it out.

Santa Fe Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 11-5. As for Mission Bay, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matchups, which lines up perfectly with their 14-2 record this season.
