Soccer Recap: Davis Sr. Takes a Loss

While it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Davis Sr. was not quite Folsom's equal in the second half on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Folsom Bulldogs by a score of 1-0.

Davis Sr. suffered their first road loss, dropping their record down to 5-3-2. As for Folsom, their win bumped their record up to 5-3-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Davis Sr. will face off against Granite Bay at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Davis Sr.'s last six matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Folsom, they will look to defend their home pitch on Thursday against St. Francis at 5:30 p.m. Folsom's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.
