Basketball Recap: Angelica Hunter's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Galileo over Lincoln

Galileo was the 42-23 winner over Lincoln when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Galileo Lions received a blow on Wednesday as they fell 57-43 to the Lincoln Mustangs. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Several Lions players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Angelica Hunter, who posted ten points. Another player making a difference was Juliette Fahey, who had nine points.

Galileo's loss dropped their record down to 11-9. As for Lincoln, they now have a winning record of 7-6.

Galileo wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 45-31 victory against The Academy - San Francisco on the 20th. Lincoln has also already played their next matchup (against Balboa), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
