Basketball Recap: Edison Find Success

Edison won the last time they faced Bear Creek, and Ajaila Jordan did her part to make sure it happened again. The Edison Vikings breezed by the Bear Creek Bruins to the tune of 54-17 on Tuesday thanks in part to Jordan, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 13 steals. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 2.2 steals per game.

Another player making a difference was De'Janae Fryman, who posted four points along with six rebounds and three steals. What's more, she also racked up two assists, the most she's had since back in November of 2024.

Edison's record is now 9-11. As for Bear Creek, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-16 record this season.

Edison didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 50-30 win against Weston Ranch on the 29th. As for Bear Creek, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 53-49 defeat against Franklin on the 30th.
