Calabasas has gone a perfect 3-0 against Cleveland recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Coyotes will venture away from home to face off against the Cavaliers at 1:30 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

On Saturday, everything came up roses for Calabasas against AGBU as the squad secured a 57-29 win.

Jaylene Hughes had a dynamite game, putting up 40 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Trista Federman, who posted seven points.

Meanwhile, Cleveland earned a 60-48 victory over Verdugo Hills on Friday.

Calabasas better focus on containing Sophie Ward and Melanie Paz as the pair were huge in Cleveland's win. Ward dropped a double-double with 18 points and 14 boards, while Paz almost dropped a double-double with 13 points and nine steals. Those nine steals gave Paz a new career-high. Daryl Bahingire was another key player, earning four points and 13 rebounds.

The win got Cleveland back to even at 1-1. As for Calabasas, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Calabasas didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Cleveland when the teams last played back in November of 2024, but they still walked away with a 65-59 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Coyotes since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
