Softball Recap: Coronado Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Coronado challenged Rock Canyon on Saturday. The Cougars lost 15-5 to the Jaguars. The Cougars just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Coronado saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Paige Pakenham, who went 3-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI. Ar'Monie Faniel also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

Coronado's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Rock Canyon, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Coronado has already played their next matchup, a 17-2 loss against Vista Ridge on the 23rd. As for Rock Canyon, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 23-6 win against Pueblo South on the 23rd.
