Soccer Recap: Carpinteria Find Success

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Channel Islands, Carpinteria was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Santa Paula Cardinals a 2-0 shutout. Even though the Warriors got in a bit of trouble with the refs ( Makenna Tobin was handed a red card), the team managed to overcome the adversity.

Carpinteria now has a winning record of 4-3-2. As for Santa Paula, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-4.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Hueneme the next time they take the pitch. Carpinteria will host Hueneme at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while Santa Paula will host them at 6:00 p.m. on January 15th.
