Soccer Game Preview: Moreno Valley vs. Big Bear

The Moreno Valley Vikings are taking a road trip to square off against the Big Bear Bears at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Moreno Valley's last three games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Last Thursday, Moreno Valley didn't have quite enough to beat San Gorgonio and fell 2-1.

Moreno Valley's goal came courtesy of Melanie Gonzalez, who's now up to five this season.

Meanwhile, Big Bear hasn't lost a match since November 23rd, a trend which continued in their latest game on Friday. They and Fontana finished up their contest with a 1-1 draw.

Big Bear's draw gives them a new season record of 6-1-2. As for Moreno Valley, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season.

Moreno Valley came out on top in a nail-biter against Big Bear in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, sneaking past 2-1. Will Moreno Valley repeat their success, or does Big Bear have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
