Basketball Recap: Edison Takes a Loss

Edison lost against Newport Harbor on January 7th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Edison Chargers took a 48-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Newport Harbor Sailors. The Chargers' loss continues a trend for the team, making it five in a row.

Edison's defeat dropped their record down to 4-22. As for Newport Harbor, their victory ended an eight-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-18.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Corona del Mar the next time they take the court. Edison will head out to face Corona del Mar at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while Newport Harbor will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
