After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Cairo, Valdosta was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They came out on top against the Bainbridge Bearcats by a score of 6-2. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Wildcats as it put an end to their eight-game losing streak.

Valdosta's win bumped their record up to 11-14. As for Bainbridge, they moved to 7-12 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.
