Recap: Modesto Panthers vs. Pitman Pride
This season hasn't been kind to the Modesto Panthers, who are still winless after their 15th game. They took a serious blow against Pitman on Thursday, falling 72-24. Modesto was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-12.
It was another big night for Elizabeth Webb, who scored 26 points along with five rebounds and four steals for Pitman. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Webb has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Kaitlyn Wu, who scored 17 points along with seven rebounds.
Modesto dropped their record down to 0-15 with that loss, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Pitman, they now have a winning record of 11-10.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Modesto will stay at home for another game and welcome Enochs at 7:30 p.m. on January 30th. Enochs is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak. As for Pitman, they will be playing at home against Downey at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
