Volleyball Recap: Lake Creek Takes a Loss

Lake Creek lost against Grand Oaks back in October of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Lions fell 2-0 to the Grizzlies.

Ryan Mokry paced Lake Creek's offense, picking up seven kills. Mokry got some help from Sutton Breck Tessier and her 11 assists.

Lake Creek now has a losing record of 10-11. As for Grand Oaks, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 16 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season.

Lake Creek wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-1 loss against North Forney on the 29th. As for Grand Oaks, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against St. John's on the 29th.
