Basketball Recap: Concord Takes a Loss

After soaring to 63 points the game before, Concord was a bit more limited in their matchup on Friday. They were dealt a 63-29 loss at the hands of the Washington Huskies. The Bears were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 33-10.

Washington found their leader in freshman James Kennedy, who almost dropped a double-double with 21 points and nine steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Kennedy has scored all season. Sahbaj Singh was another key player, putting up 12 points.

Concord's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Washington, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-2.

Concord will take on Bentley in a holiday battle at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Washington, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Newark Memorial at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday.
