Volleyball Recap: Prince Edward County Eagles vs. Amelia County Raiders

Prince Edward County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Amelia County Raiders. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Raiders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

While Prince Edward County was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-5, 25-22.

Maddie Wells: paced Prince Edward County's offense, picking up four kills. Wells: got some help from Sarah Lucas: and her eight assists. Finally, Anyshia Clark: kept Prince Edward County's defense grounded, leading the team with four blocks.

Prince Edward County's loss dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Amelia County, the victory (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 12-3.
