New West Charter's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Allison Jimenez, who scored nine points. The team also got some help courtesy of Nicole Wolf, who scored eight points.
Animo South Los Angeles' win bumped their record up to 3-4. As for New West Charter, their win was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-0.
Animo South Los Angeles was dealt a bruising 59-26 defeat at the hands of New West Charter in their previous matchup back in December of 2023. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of New West Charter's Brissia Cruz, who scored 18 points. Now that Animo South Los Angeles knows the damage she can cause, will they be able to stop her this time? There's only one way to find out.
