Baseball Recap: Mcclain Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

McClain took an 11-run defeat the last time they faced off against New Lexington, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Tigers had just enough and edged out the Panthers 4-3 on Tuesday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Tigers as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.

Kolton Lamb was excellent, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI. McClain is 3-1 when Lamb posts three or more hits, but 10-11 otherwise.

McClain now has a winning record of 13-12. As for New Lexington, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-15.

As of now, neither McClain nor the Panthers have any future games scheduled.
