They came out on top against Stockton Christian by a score of 49-37. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Aspire Langston Hughes Academy also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2023.
Stockton Christian lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Kayla Sanchez, who scored nine points. The team also got some help courtesy of Elliana Britt, who scored ten points.
Aspire Langston Hughes Academy's victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-9. As for Stockton Christian, they now have a losing record at 7-8.
Aspire Langston Hughes Academy will head out on the road to face off against the Titans at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lodi Academy is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last three games. As for Stockton Christian, they will be playing at home against the Cougars at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Quarry Lane will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
