Soccer Game Preview: Highland vs. Bakersfield Christian

The Highland Scots will challenge the Bakersfield Christian Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Highland is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Bakersfield just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Thursday. They and the Drillers finished up their contest with a 1-1 draw. The result kept the Scots happy, as they haven't lost a game since January 2nd.

Their goal came courtesy of Stephanie Cobos, who's now up to 17 this season.

Meanwhile, everything went Bakersfield Christian's way against Central Valley Christian on Saturday as Bakersfield Christian made off with a 5-1 win. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won four games by three goals or more so far this season.

Bakersfield Christian's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-3-1. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 18 goals over those four matchups. Highland's draw makes their record 17-1-1 this season.
