Galligan Made His Presence Known in North Quincy's 32-28 Loss

Starting off the list is North Quincy's Mikey Galligan, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Galligan threw for 295 yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 46 yards.

For the year, Galligan has thrown 12 touchdowns while averaging 208.4 passing yards per game.

A Season-Best Effort from Jack Horvath Leads Plymouth South over North Quincy

Jack Horvath produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Plymouth South to the win on Friday. Horvath rushed for 78 yards and three touchdowns on only eight carries. The bulk of those rushing yards came from one huge play: a run that gained an incredible 55 yards.

Plymouth South now has a winning record of 3-2. Horvath and Plymouth South are on the road again on Friday to play Scituate at 7:00 p.m.

Marques Rodrigues-Smith Turns in Season-Best Performance

On Friday, North Quincy had to settle for second even though Marques Rodrigues-Smith put up the best numbers he has all season. Rodrigues-Smith picked up 175 receiving yards and two touchdowns. The effort also marked the most rushing yards (two) he has had since back in September of 2023. He was no stranger to the big play, connecting on a big catch that went for 58 yards.

This year, Rodrigues-Smith has caught 5 touchdowns while averaging 86 receiving yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after five games last season, he was only averaging 2.2 receiving yards per game.

Timmy Durocher Sets Career High in Rushing Yards

On Friday, Plymouth South got the W thanks in part to Timmy Durocher playing the best football he has all season. Durocher threw for 174 yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 85 yards on only 12 carries, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.

On the season, Durocher has thrown 3 touchdowns while averaging 100.8 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 25.2 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 38.6 rushing yards.

Arnold Posts Huge Game in 32-28 Victory

Another Plymouth South player making an appearance on this list is Max Arnold. He rushed for 75 yards on only nine carries, and also caught a touchdown.

This season, Arnold has averaged 77.6 rushing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after five games last season, he was only averaging 10.6 rushing yards per game.
