Soccer Recap: Mesa Verde Comes Up Short

Mesa Verde lost against Highlands back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Mavericks came up short against the Scots, falling 5-1.

Mesa Verde's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Highlands, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-2.

Mesa Verde didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, an 8-0 win against Rio Vista on the 16th. As for Highlands, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against San Juan on the 15th.
