If Peach County was feeling good fresh off their 8-1 takedown of Dougherty last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Trojans fell just short of the Cairo Syrupmakers by a score of 2-1 on Friday. Peach County's defeat signaled the end of their ten-game winning streak.

Their goal came courtesy of Micah Griggs, who's now up to seven this season.

Peach County's loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 6-1 and their overall record down to 11-2. As for Cairo, they pushed their record up to 8-3 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home.
