Bloomfield proved they can win big on Thursday (they won by eight) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past the Miyamura Patriots 2-1. This was a revenge game for Bloomfield: when they faced off against Miyamura on October 2nd, they had to take a 1-0 loss.

Aurelia Armenta and Bella Waite scored both of Bloomfield's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 20 goals.

Bloomfield has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-6-1 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 16 goals over those four matches. As for Miyamura, they moved to 17-2-1 with that defeat, which also ended their 13-match winning streak.

Coming up, Bloomfield will look to defend their home pitch on Thursday against Kirtland Central at 6:00 p.m. Miyamura does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
