Baseball Recap: Augusta Prep Day Comes Up Short

After flying high against Monsignor Donovan Catholic on Friday, Augusta Prep Day came back down to earth. The Cavaliers lost 13-2 to the Augusta E Eagles on Monday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-0 back in March.

Augusta Prep Day saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Viraj Bulla, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one run.

Augusta Prep Day's defeat dropped their record down to 11-10. As for Augusta E, the win (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 16-6.

As of now, neither Augusta Prep Day nor the Eagles have any future games scheduled.
