Berks Catholic won the last time they faced Hamburg and things went their way on Friday too. The Saints claimed a resounding 38-7 victory over the Hawks. Considering the Saints have won seven contests by more than 23 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Berks Catholic got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Coy Koller out in front who rushed for 100 yards and a pair of scores on only seven carries. Those 100 rushing yards gave Koller a new career-high. Jeremiah Camara also helped out as he racked up 113 rushing yards.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Berks Catholic was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 386 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 262 rushing yards in eight consecutive matchups.

Berks Catholic didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Colton Drumheller and Wyatt Burkman.

Hamburg's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Alex Soto, who gained 83 total yards, and Ethan Horvath, who picked up 72 receiving yards.

Berks Catholic pushed their record up to 7-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 8.3 points on average over those games. As for Hamburg, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.
