Football Recap: Klenam Attipoe and Samuel Wright III Lead the Defense for Paetow Win + How To Watch

Paetow extended their road winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Curtis Zeno. The Panthers blew past the Seven Lakes Spartans 28-3 on Thursday for which the team can thank Zeno, who rushed for 65 yards and two TDs. He showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 52 yards.

Paetow's defense made their presence known, laying out the QB six times. The heavy lifting was done by Klenam Attipoe and Samuel Wright III, who racked up five sacks between them. Paetow is 3-1 when Wright III posts two or more sacks, but 1-2 otherwise.

Paetow now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Seven Lakes, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season.

Paetow and Seven Lakes could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. The Panthers will face off against Katy at 6:30 p.m. on Friday with a big rank disadvantage (322 vs. 58). Meanwhile, Seven Lakes (ranked 487th) will meet Tompkins (ranked 232nd) at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
