Football Recap: Bowie Starts off Right with Win over Flower Mound + How To Watch

Bowie had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They walked away with a 28-21 win over the Flower Mound Jaguars on Friday. This was payback for the Volunteers, who suffered a 50-48 loss the last time these two teams met.

Jayden Bibbs threw for 295 yards and two touchdowns. Maxwell Nichols was his top target, picking up 203 receiving yards and a pair of TDs. On the ground, Denzel Ponder rushed for 67 yards.

Bowie will look to takes advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they takes on Keller at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Flower Mound, they are headed away from home for the first time to take on Wylie at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
