Soccer Recap: Cabrillo Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Santa Maria, Cabrillo was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Lompoc Braves, sneaking past 3-2. The score was all tied up 1-1 at the break, but the Conquistadores were the better team in the second half.

Cabrillo has also been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-9-1 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 11 goals over those four matchups. As for Lompoc, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-11-2.

Cabrillo will welcome Pioneer Valley at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Lompoc does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
