Soccer Game Preview: North vs. West

North is 1-8-1 against West since January of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Saxons will be home for the holidays to greet the Warriors at 3:30 p.m. One thing working in North's favor is that they have posted at least four goals in their last five matchups.

North's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 4-0 margin over Oxford Academy. Give North's defense some credit: that's the team's fourth straight shutout.

They hit Oxford Academy with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Sierra Reynaga, Isabella Portillo, Zoe Rhodes, and Marley Norwood.

Meanwhile, after soaring to four goals the game before, West was a bit more limited in their contest on Thursday. They fell 2-0 to Newport Harbor.

West's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for North, their win bumped their record up to 6-0.
