Heritage waltzed into their contest on Saturday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Cherokee Bluff Bears. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 5-0 on Friday.

Bailee Hollis spent all nine innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on four hits. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 15 consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Heritage's win was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Landry White, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one double. Another was Molly Corvin, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one RBI.

Heritage's victory bumped their record up to 23-10. As for Cherokee Bluff, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 15-12.

As of now, neither Heritage nor the Bears have any future games scheduled.
