Softball Recap: Lawton Comes Up Short

Lawton managed to slip by Eisenhower the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Wolverines came up short against the Eagles on Monday, falling 14-4. The Wolverines were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2022.

Lawton now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Eisenhower, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1.

Coincidentally, Lawton and Eisenhower will both be playing MacArthur the next time they take the field. The Wolverines will head out to face the Highlanders at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Eagles will head out to face them at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
