Ayala picked up another tournament win on Friday. They walked away with a 42-34 win over the Hemet Bulldogs. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Ayala.

Hemet lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Hailey Wolbeck, who posted eight points and 11 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Ruby Lindsey, who put up 12 points.

Ayala's victory bumped their record up to 6-7. As for Hemet, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-3.

Ayala didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 60-31 defeat against King on the 28th. As for Hemet, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on JW North at 6:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025. Hemet is facing JW North at the right time seeing as JW North is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
