Basketball Recap: Temple City Takes a Loss

On Saturday, the Temple City Rams came up short against the Burbank Bulldogs and fell 41-34. The Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

When it comes to explaining why Temple City lost, don't look at Kristi Huynh. Despite the final result, she almost dropped a double-double on 16 points and nine boards. What's more, Huynh also racked up eight steals, the most she's had since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Abigail Yoshimura, who posted 11 points.

Temple City's loss dropped their record down to 13-11. As for Burbank, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-10 record this season.

Temple City will face off against San Marino at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Burbank, they will challenge Hoover at 5:15 p.m. on Monday.
