Football Recap: Linganore Starts Season with Victory Against Mergenthaler Vo-Tech + How To Watch

Linganore had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They walked away with a 36-27 victory over the Mergenthaler Vo-Tech Mustangs on Friday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Lancers also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2019.

Bradly Matthews was a one-man wrecking crew as he rushed for 190 yards and three touchdowns. His rushing production has been exceptional for a while as that marked his 12th straight game with at least 101 rushing yards dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Linganore will look to defend their home field on Friday against Meade at 6:30 p.m. As for Mergenthaler Vo-Tech, they are taking a road trip to take on Pallotti at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
