Football Game Preview: Larned Indians vs. Cimarron Bluejays

The Larned Indians will head out to challenge the Cimarron Bluejays at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Larned is looking for their season's first win.

Larned's offense might be in the hot seat on Friday considering what happened against Russell on Friday. They were beaten by the Broncos 52-0.

Meanwhile, Cimarron got the win against Lakin on Friday by a conclusive 31-7. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bluejays.

Larned better keep an eye on McCoy Nash. He was instrumental in Cimarron's win, rushing for 247 yards and three TDs while picking up 12.4 yards per carry. With that strong performance, Nash is now averaging an impressive 122 rushing yards per game.

Cimarron was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 279 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Cimarron didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Christian Kennedy.

Larned's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Cimarron, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Larned might still be hurting after the 33-8 loss they got from Cimarron in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. Can the Indians avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
