Recap: Round Valley Mustangs vs. Anderson Valley Panthers
There's no place like home for the Round Valley Mustangs, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Tuesday. They managed a 38-34 victory over Anderson Valley on Friday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Round Valley also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2023.
Round Valley's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Claudia Boggs, who scored ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ayla Hinman, who scored 12 points.
Round Valley now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Anderson Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 4-9.
Round Valley will head out on the road to challenge Potter Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Potter Valley is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. As for Anderson Valley, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Mendocino at 5:30 p.m. Mendocino will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
