Basketball Recap: Elizabeth Murray's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Poly over South Pasadena

Poly played a tough contest on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 56-33 to the South Pasadena Tigers. The matchup marked the Bears' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Several Bears players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Elizabeth Murray, who posted ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Mia Dalton, who scored seven points.

Poly dropped their record down to 3-4 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for South Pasadena, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1.

Poly wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 56-29 victory against El Segundo on the 29th. As for South Pasadena, they have also already played their next game, a 52-37 win against Walnut on the 29th.
