Softball Recap: Orcas Island Vikings vs. La Conner Braves
Orcas Island had lost three straight at home, but on Thursday they dropped their record down to 7-8 to make it four. They fell just short of the La Conner Braves by a score of 10-9. The Vikings were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Braves earlier this season, when they won 18-9.
As for La Conner, they moved to 2-8 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak. The game was the first time they have beaten Orcas Island on their field since March 29, 2022.
