            The Burlingame Panthers will square off against the Aragon Dons at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Neither  squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.
Burlingame is likely headed into the  match with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Hillsdale on Thursday. Burlingame took  a  2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Hillsdale. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Meanwhile, Aragon hadn't done well against Sequoia recently (they were 0-7-2 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way  on Thursday. Aragon never let Sequoia onto the board and left with  a   1-0  win. Given the Dons' advantage  in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings  (they are ranked 72nd, while the Ravens are ranked 362nd), the result  wasn't entirely unexpected.
Aragon's one-goal win came courtesy of  Sierra Troy, who's now up to five this season.
 Aragon's victory was  their fifth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 7-2-1. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up two  goals over those five  games. As for Burlingame, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-7-3.
 Burlingame skirted past Aragon  3-2 when the teams last played  back in December of 2023. Does  Burlingame have another victory up their sleeve, or will Aragon turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
