Vista Ridge won the last time they faced Heritage and things went their way on Saturday too. The Wolves walked away with an 11-7 win over the Eagles. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wolves.

Vista Ridge got a big performance out of Justine Laulu, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. That stolen base was Laulu's first of the season. Another player making a difference was Delaney Hamilton, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Vista Ridge hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least three batters in five consecutive matches.

Vista Ridge's record now sits at 4-2. As for Heritage, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Vista Ridge will head out to face off against Liberty at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wolves' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Lancers have averaged an impressive 12.5 runs per game this season. As for Heritage, they are taking a road trip to square off against Smoky Hill at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
