If Dobson wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Sunnyslope, they should've done a better job of containing Kelton Rogers. The Vikings really took it to the Mustangs for the full four quarters, racking up a 38-7 victory thanks in part to Rogers, who rushed for 163 yards and three scores on only 13 carries. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 104.1 rushing yards per game.

Dobson's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Joriyn Winston, who picked up 86 receiving yards and one touchdown, and Preston Brunsvold, who threw for 107 yards and one TD.

The win made it two in a row for Sunnyslope and bumps their season record up to 5-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 13 points in those games. As for Dobson, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.
