Soccer Recap: Foshay Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against GALA, Foshay was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Harbor Teacher Monarchs 2-1. That's more bragging rights for the Wolverines, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Jasmin Mercado and Jasmine Sandoval scored both of Foshay's goals, bringing their combined season tally to ten goals.

Foshay's victory bumped their record up to 6-4-2. As for Harbor Teacher, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-8-1.

Foshay is taking a road trip to take on Locke at 2:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Harbor Teacher, they will square off against Fremont at 2:30 p.m. on Friday. Harbor Teacher's last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
