Preview: Palm Springs vs. Oak Park
Palm Springs has enjoyed a three-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will face off against the Oak Park Eagles at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in California (Palm Springs is ranked 110th, while Oak Park is ranked 132nd).
Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Palm Springs walked away with it. They never let the Titans onto the board and left with a 2-0 win on Thursday. Kimberly Rodriguez-Torres had the honor of scoring the game-winner for Palm Springs.
Marshall typically has all the answers at home, but on Thursday Oak Park proved too difficult a challenge. They were the clear victor by a 3-0 margin over the Eagles. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Oak Park.
Palm Springs has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-2-2 record this season. As for Oak Park, their win bumped their record up to 11-6-2.
