Marist has gone a perfect 5-0 against Druid Hills recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The War Eagles will be playing in front of their home fans against the Red Devils at 7:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Marist is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 17 runs on Tuesday, they were much more limited against Mill Creek on Wednesday. They lost 8-1 to the Hawks.

Meanwhile, Druid Hills was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against Northview, falling 9-2.

De'Shauna Riddick was huge no matter where she played even without the win. She didn't allow a single earned run while striking out seven over 5.1 innings pitched. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks any time she's pitched this season. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

Marist's loss dropped their record down to 12-8. As for Druid Hills, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-10.

Marist took their win against Druid Hills when the teams last played back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 16-0 score. Do the War Eagles have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Red Devils turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
