Baseball Game Preview: Savannah Bluejackets vs. Groves Rebels

Savannah is 0-10 against Groves since April of 2018 but things could change on Monday. The Bluejackets will challenge the Rebels at 4:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Savannah's last matchup with Windsor Forest could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's matchup on Thursday. The Bluejackets came up short against the Knights, falling 16-3.

Meanwhile, Groves fell victim to Long County and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 14-0 to the Blue Tide. The Rebels haven't had much luck with the Blue Tide recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Groves' loss dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Savannah, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-5.

Savannah suffered a grim 13-3 defeat to Groves in their previous meeting back in March. Can the Bluejackets avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
