Basketball Game Preview: Shadow Ridge Stallions vs. Valley Vista Monsoon

The Shadow Ridge Stallions will head out on the road to take on the Valley Vista Monsoon at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Shadow Ridge is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.

Last Tuesday, Shadow Ridge lost to Apollo at home by a 72-53 margin.

Meanwhile, Valley Vista came into Tuesday's game having lost five straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They walked away with a 64-55 win over Tolleson on Tuesday.

Shadow Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 8-12. As for Valley Vista, their victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 4-15.

Shadow Ridge came up short against Valley Vista when the teams last played back in February of 2024, falling 48-44. Can Shadow Ridge avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
