Softball Recap: North Oconee Takes a Loss

After flying high against Flowery Branch on Thursday, North Oconee came back down to earth. The Titans fell 5-2 to the Madison County Red Raiders on Monday. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Red Raiders this season, with their most recent defeat being a 7-6 loss back in September.

North Oconee's loss dropped their record down to 11-13. As for Madison County, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 11-16.

While North Oconee had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
