Meanwhile, Olathe South ended up a good deal behind Shawnee Mission East on Thursday and lost 49-35.

Olathe South's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 2-2. As for Lawrence Free State, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.
