Mullen extended their postseason success on Saturday against Golden. They beat the Demons by a goal, winning 2-1. Winning may never get old, but Mullen sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Jackson Kaunda and Roman Cedillo scored both of Mullen's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 16 goals.

Mullen's win bumped their record up to 16-1-1. As for Golden, they moved to 12-3-3 with that loss, which also ended their seven-match winning streak.

Looking ahead, Mullen will be playing in front of their home fans against Cheyenne Mountain at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Cheyenne Mountain's last four matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. Golden does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
