Basketball Recap: Delaney Zentner's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Bloomsburg over Northeast Bradford

Fans were treated to a Battle of the Panthers on Saturday. The Bloomsburg Panthers took a 45-38 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Northeast Bradford Panthers. Bloomsburg just can't catch a break and has now endured three losses in a row.

Bloomsburg lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Delaney Zentner, who posted 11 points along with five boards and four steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last seven games she's played. Another player making a difference was Ally Bang, who put up three points in addition to ten rebounds and five steals.

Even though they lost, Bloomsburg smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 18 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've posted since back in December of 2024.

Bloomsburg's defeat dropped their record down to 8-12. As for Northeast Bradford, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-3 record this season.

Bloomsburg didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 39-20 victory against South Williamsport on the 10th. Northeast Bradford does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
